Partial or full payments

Record a payment and the balance goes down. Pay it all and the ledger is cleared — while every transaction and payment stays on record.

Multi-currency, never mixed

Every entry keeps its own currency. Dollars, euros and taka sit in separate balances and are never added together or converted.

Due dates & reminders

Add an optional due date and turn on a reminder. Home surfaces what's due soon and what's overdue, without making the app noisy.

Voice entry

Say “Sarah paid me 300 dollars” and I OWE fills in the form. Nothing is saved until you review it and press Save.

Every balance has a story

Balances are never typed in — they're calculated from each transaction and payment, separately for every person, direction and currency.

Currencies stay separate

If John owes you $500 and €200, I OWE shows two balances — never a combined $700. There's no exchange rate and no conversion.

Overpayment is blocked

If $50 is outstanding and you enter $100, I OWE stops the save and offers $50 instead. The extra never quietly turns into a new debt.

Cleared, not erased

When a balance reaches zero, its history stays visible. A new transaction later starts a fresh balance alongside the old record.

One direction, no surprises

Payments only reduce the balance you chose. I OWE never flips a debt into the other direction or nets two people's balances together.

Step 1

Add what happened

Pick a person, choose I Owe or Owed To Me, and enter the amount in any currency. Due date, reminder, note and category are there when you need them — and out of the way when you don't.

Track every balance

Home shows what you owe and what's owed to you, one row per currency, with anything due soon right underneath. Every number can be traced back through its history.

Pay, collect and clear

Open a person to record a partial or full payment. When the balance reaches zero it's cleared — and the history stays, so you can always see how you got there.

Your ledger is yours alone

Security rules let an account read and write only its own records. No other user can see your ledger.

Nobody gets contacted

The people in your ledger are never notified, billed or messaged. I OWE is a private record, not a collection tool.

Privacy lock

Require Face ID, Touch ID, fingerprint or passcode to open the app. Biometric data never leaves your device.

No ads, no data sales

We don't sell your information or use it for advertising. Delete your account and its data from Settings anytime.
